Shane and Amy Frix

Shane and Amy Frix

Shane and Amy both grew up in Muskogee and attended Muskogee Public Schools. They married in 1994 and have 2 children, Ashlyn 18, and Braden 16. They moved to Fort Gibson 17 years ago to build homes and have resided there ever since.

Shane has been involved in several business ventures. He worked at the Muskogee Police Department as an officer and later as a detective, before becoming a residential contractor and rental property owner. Shane enjoys spending time with his family and has a love for the outdoors. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and flying.

Amy worked at Pioneer Abstract and Title Company for several years before she became a mother. She now enjoys being a fulltime homemaker who also enjoys running, photography, baking and gardening. They attend Crescent Valley Baptist Church in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.


Fred and Nan Haynes

Fred and Nan Haynes

Fred and Nan Haynes, married since 1978, are both third generation “Okies,” and both born and raised in Muskogee. They attended, and graduated from the Muskogee school system, as did their three children.

Fred grew up in the family business, Haynes Plumbing, and after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and attending Oklahoma Baptist University, he returned to work for 17 years with his parents before starting his own plumbing company, O.M.T. Plumbing, in 1993. His hobbies include motorcycles, shooting, camping and trips to the lake with his family.

Nan graduated from Oklahoma University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and later returned to earn a Master’s degree. She has been employed at the Veterans Medical Center since 1978 and is currently executive assistant to the Chief of Staff. Nan enjoys photography, hiking, camping, motorcycles and spending time with her family.

Both are active members of First Baptist Church participating in various bus ministries and Nan teaches and works in the youth department.


Bruce and Shirley Shropshire

Bruce and Shirley Shropshire

The Shropshire family has lived in Muskogee since 1975 and has owned My Place Bar-B-Q West for 39 years. Shirley grew up in Webbers Falls, and Bruce in Eufaula. They met while attending Northeastern University, and married in December of 1969. Both received Bachelor Degrees in Education and taught school for six years before going into private business.

They have two daughters, Angela Weaver and her husband, Dr. Jack Weaver, and Amy, who is married to Shane Frix. Bruce and Shirley have seven grandchildren: Jackson, Latham, Corbet, Pearson, and Anna Katherine Weaver, and Ashlyn and Braden Frix. Keeping busy with the grandchildren is their number one pastime but they do find time for other things as well. Shirley enjoys reading, bicycling, and vacations to the beach. Bruce enjoys fishing, bicycling, and traveling. They are members of First Baptist Church of Muskogee.


Gary and Linda Sizemore

Gary and Linda Sizemore

Lifelong residents of Muskogee, Gary and Linda Sizemore consider it an honor to call Muskogee “home”. Gary graduated from Harding University with a Business Degree. He is now a real estate appraiser and the owner of Gary Sizemore Appraisals. Linda brings 38 yrs experience as a realtor to now several generations of families and friends. She currently works at Remax of Muskogee.

They have four grown children Shane Frix, Jill Smith, Gary Sizemore, Jr., and Hoyt Sizemore. Their pride and joy is their six grandchildren, Ashlyn and Braden Frix, Hunter and Colton Smith, Bradley and Andy Sizemore.

Gary and Linda are active members of the Muskogee First Assembly of God, where they have been teaching a class for 30 years. They enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, music, and working around “the farm”.
