Wilma Lenora Kennie Worley Epperson Smith

Wilma Lenora Kennie Worley Epperson Smith was born September 7, 1943 at home in Gore, Oklahoma the daughter of Earnest Laverne and Anna Mae (Hubler) Kennie. She completed this life on December 4, 2021 at the age of 78. Wilma grew up in Gore where she attended Gum Springs School. She was baptized in 1965 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married George Edward Worley on October 27, 1958, and the two were eventually blessed with three daughters Carrie Faye, Melanie Lea, and Phyllis Ella. George preceded her in death in 1978. Wilma married Jack Epperson in 1978 and together they shared many lifetime milestones and achievements over 28 years of marriage. Jack preceded her in death on March 7, 2006. She married Joe Carlile Smith on October 28, 2010. Joe preceded her in death on August 4, 2018. Wilma began her career in 1976 at Brockway Glass Company where she worked for 28 years until retirement. Wilma's greatest accomplishment in life was the family she loved so much. Wilma could often be seen at her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's numerous extracurricular activities. She made it known that great-grandchildren were the absolute best. To be around Wilma you knew she loved you with all her heart. She was always ready to extend the warmest hug and kiss on the cheek. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Laverne Kennie; mother, Anna Mae Kennie; two sisters at birth, Goldie Rae and Phyllis Faye; husband, George Worley; husband, Jack Epperson; husband, Joe Smith; daughter, Phyllis Worley; and son-in-law, Arthur Carl Kelley. She is survived by many loving family members: daughters, Carrie Kelley, and Melanie husband Rex Edwards; sons, Stanley R. Epperson, wife Marla, and Haden Epperson; numerous grandchildren, Stanley D. Epperson wife Tanya, Eric Epperson wife Alisia, Heather husband Kevin Ezell, Jason Kelley wife Ginger, Trisha husband Jeremy Cragg, Fallon Kelley, Colby Cole wife Lisa, Jordan Kelley fiancé Annie Felts, Whitney husband Branden Parpart, Cole Cook, and Shy McLain; great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Epperson, Shane Epperson, Colton Kelley, Zander Kelley, Britney Cragg, Addison Cragg, Thatcher Wilson, Rayke Wilson, Jack Wilson, Cali Wallis, Finley Faye Kelley, Easton Parpart, and Remington Parpart; two sisters, Wanda Laverne Gilliam and Dortha Mae Nail; as well as many nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 N. York St Muskogee, OK 74403, with Bishop Chris Emler officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Colby Cole, Branden Parpart, Jordan Kelley, Cole Cook, Shy McLain, Thatcher Wilson, Rayke Wilson and Jack Wilson serving as pallbearers.
