Audra Breashears

Audra Breashears, 71, of Haskell, Oklahoma entered Heaven’s gates Sunday, May 25, 2014. She was born April 17, 1943 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma to Elmer Dillon and Eva Frazier Dillon. Audra attended Woodall Public Schools through the fifth grade and then attended Warner Public Schools from which she graduated. She was a great basketball player, a sport she enjoyed and played through junior high and high school. She met and later married Clell “Zip” Breashears on December 15, 1978 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They celebrated over 35 years of marriage. Audra worked various occupations from being a truck driver, certified medication aide, and lastly, a tax preparer for H & R Block from which she retired in 2009. She was a wiz at numbers and her memory was sharp as a tack. Audra was a faithful and active member of the First United Methodist Church in Haskell. For the last eight years she served on the Welcome/Card ministry. She helped everyone and loved to sing and dance and serve the Lord. Audra was also an animal lover, especially her five little chihuahua. She will be truly missed. Audra was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Bruce Dillon; stepdaughter, Stephanie Ogden; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is survived by her husband, Clell “Zip” of Haskell; stepsons, Perry Breashears and Luther Breashears, both of Tulsa; and grandchildren; brother, Claude Dillon and wife, Jan of Muskogee; sisters, Georgia Wiles and husband, Terry of Tulsa, Zoni Mink and husband, Dean of Glenpool, Mary Green and husband, Bob of Tulsa; nephews, Terry Dillon of Muskogee, Rod McCaslin and wife, Jennifer of Concordia, MO, Mike McCaslin and wife, Dawn of Broken Arrow, OK, Jeramiah “Jay” Wiles and wife, Laura of New York, currently stationed in Afghanistan, and Kelly Green and wife, Cheryl of California; nieces, Shelia Holcomb and husband, Rick of Sperry, OK, Tracie Campbell and husband, James of Haskell, Shelly Murry and husband Kyle of Bixby, OK; 12 great nephews; 7 great nieces; 3 great great nephews; 2 great great nieces; 1 great great great niece; many family friends to mourn her passing. A family conducted memorial service for Audra will be at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Haskell First United Methodist Church, 301 W Main St, Haskell, OK. Rev. Paul Vickery will be officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Dillon, Rod McCaslin, Mike McCaslin, James Campbell, Corey Campbell, Terry Wiles, Bradley Dillon, Justin Dillon, Austin Dillon, Steve Holcomb, Nathan McCaslin, Phillip McCaslin, William McCaslin, Brody Green, Logan Wiles, Christopher Wiles, Luther Breashears, and Perry Breashears.
