Barbara Ann Stiger

Barbara Ann Stiger was born on February 15, 1946 in Muskogee, OK to Forest Majors and Grace Allison. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 24, 2022 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK at the age of 76 years old. Growing up Barbara attended Muskogee Public Schools. On July 12, 1979 she wed David Stiger in Arkansas where they began a marriage that spanned 42 years. She has called Muskogee home most of her life. During this time, she owned and operated Jani-Klean Professional Services for over 45 years. Barbara was a devoted wife, loving mother and the best mema to her grandchildren and great-grandson, Oakley. She loved her family deeply and treasured every precious moment with them. She had the biggest heart and you could always count on her for anything. Barbara took pleasure in preparing good meals and hosting holidays for her family, many times burning the dinner rolls. All her siblings doted on her fried chicken, saying it was just like mama's. Her sense of humor was second to none, and she was just as honest as she was witty. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Early on in her life, Barbara developed a strong work ethic. She had a drive to succeed in business and help those close to her. Many great memories were made traveling and vacationing when her children were young. David & Barbara owned many horses and enjoyed spending time at the racetrack before her health declined. Barbara was loved by many & will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Barbara is survived by her husband, David Ralph Stiger; her two children, Pamela Fisher and Norman Fisher; four grandchildren, Kirstin DeCamp & husband Alex, Colton Fisher, Jacob Fisher and Joshua Freeman; one great-grandchild, Oakley DeCamp and soon to be brother, Carter DeCamp; four siblings, Oscar Majors & wife Laure, Sidney Majors, Shirley Ellis & husband Randy, Linda Moore & husband David; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and six brothers: Gene Majors, Everett Majors, Paul Majors, Robert Majors, Donnie Majors and Terry Majors. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM, Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Barbara’s life will be celebrated at 1PM, Friday, April 1, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Chartney officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with Colton Fisher, Jacob Fisher, Joshua Freeman, Eric Majors, Nick Majors, Mike Majors and Ryan Majors serving as pallbearers.
