Barry B. Boswell

Barry “Boz” Boswell, of Fort Gibson, earned his wings on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at the age of 59. He was born October 25, 1958 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ollie and Margie Boswell. Barry graduated from Warner High School with the class of 1976. Barry met and later married his sweetheart and the love of his life, Becky Daniels, on June 17, 1978 at Honors Heights Park in Muskogee, OK. They shared more than 40 years of life and marriage together. He was self employed as a professional contractor and builder. He was able to develop a profitable family business. His legacy will continue through his sons. When he was not traveling for work, he looked forward to spending time with his family and grandchildren fishing and camping at the lake. Some of the fond memories include; watching his children play sports, traveling with his family for sports, going on vacations, and spending time at the lake or pond with his children. He would spend a lot of time at the shop where valuable talks of guidance and wisdom for his children would happen. His long talks while sitting on the front porch will always be remembered by his family. Daddy, thank you for the guidance and wisdom you showed through long talks on the porch, thank you for loving your grandkids, thank you for all the hard work providing for your family, thank you for loving your wife and children. Loved his wife and children His greatest passion was spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for the love of his family and his enthusiasm for life. Barry never met a stranger and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Margie Boswell of Keefton OK; his first born baby girl, Heather Nicole and precious grandson, Kyler Wade. Barry is survived by his wife, Becky of the home; and their children, Brandon and Toni of Ft. Gibson, OK, Derek of Ft. Gibson, OK, Ryan and Katie of Ft. Gibson, OK, Travis and Bridget of Olathe, KS, Alicia and Gary of Ft. Gibson, OK; and their grandchildren; his precious “little buddies”, Ithan, Berkley, and Jeb(baby Ragar), little Emma due in July, Hayley, Trapper, Matthew, Michelle; his brothers, Larry and Barb of Claremore, OK, Warren and Linda of Newkirk, OK; and many nephews and nieces family and friends. A family conducted memorial service celebrating Barry’s life will be 11 am, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Historical First Baptist Church, Ft. Gibson, OK.
