Belinda "BoBo" Scoggins

Belinda Joyce Scoggins was born in Oklahoma on February 28, 1956 to Wanice Lykins & Bill Scoggins. She was raised in Ohio and made her way back to Oklahoma. She settled in Muskogee where she passed away on August 17, 2021 at the age of 65. B, BJ or BoBo as she was known to her friends and family. She gave birth to two children, Shawna and Brent and later gained two bonus children, Caroline & Robin. As a child BoBo wasn’t one to sit still. She was known to spend her time tinkering with and trying to fix all kinds of things. This would hold true throughout her lifetime. BoBo worked as a mechanic for Castleberry’s Conoco and then Charlie’s Transmission where she worked on cars, helped build race cars and learned to drive a tow truck. She moved on to D&J Shiftie’s where she also worked as a mechanic and drove a wrecker. Eighteen years ago she went to work for Morgan’s Demo cleaning bricks then started running a cab and the rest they say is history. She was running a Morgan Wrecker until she couldn’t. She was one of the hardest working people you could ever meet. BoBo was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Alan Scoggins; her daughter, Shawna Scoggins, and lifetime friend and constant companion, Carolyn Reynolds. Surviving is her sister, Edie Hobbs (spouse Jessie), sister Melissa Reynolds all of Canton Ohio; two brothers, Junior Lykins and Ray Dodgin both of Muskogee; her son, Brent Scoggins of Muskogee; bonus daughters, Caroline Tremblay (spouse George) and Robin Jones (spouse Michael Schultz) also both of Muskogee. BoBo also leaves behind seven granddaughters, Carol Ann, Chancy, Shannon, Abby, Ciara, Salena and Angelina; four grandsons, Kelton, Mason, Rocky and Colin; and two great granddaughters, Brynlee and Kinslea, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a large extended family including numerous friends. Her passion was spending time with her family. She always had plenty of love to give. Her hobbies were fishing, collecting trains and anything Elvis Presley. “BOBO FINALLY HAS HER GOLDEN TICKET” Her life will be celebrated at 4:30PM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donnie Echols officiating.
