Beverly Ann Gilley

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Beverly Ann Gilley of Paoli, Oklahoma, who left us on Friday, April 11, 2025. Beverly was born on December 11, 1941, in Ackley, Iowa, to George Kappel and Grace (Murra) Kappel. Beverly graduated from public school and went on to marry Fred Davis Gilley Jr. on April 18, 1958. Their union was blessed with 60+ years of love and companionship. Beverly worked diligently as the bookkeeper for Gilley Plumbing, a role in which she demonstrated her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. She later retired in 2006 from the Muskogee County Assessor's Office, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Grace Kappel, and her cherished husband, Fred Gilley. Beverly's memory will forever be treasured by those she left behind. She is survived by her loving daughter, Freda Dial, and her husband David; her devoted sons, Gary Gilley and his wife Misty, and Lonnie Gilley and his wife Laura. Beverly was a proud grandmother to Dianne, Greg, Wayne, Scott, Ashley, Sara, Nikki, Trey, and Emily, and a great-grandmother to Zach, Lexi, Audrina, Isaac, Landon, Logan, Zoey, Adalyn, Avery, Benjamin, Paisley, Hunter, Luke R., Scarlett, Krista, Evan, Hadley, Callan, Holland, Gunner, Luke G., and Brody. She also leaves behind numerous other family members who will miss her dearly. Beverly's life was a testament to the values of love, commitment, and hard work. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered for her warm spirit, her unwavering dedication to her family, and her gracious heart. As we gather to celebrate her life, we reflect on the countless memories and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through the love and laughter of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all her loved ones. Beverly Ann Gilley; you will forever hold a special place in our hearts. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Ward and Dr. Luke Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Coleman Cemetery in Porum, Oklahoma.
