Brenda Kay Green

Brenda was born in Downey, California on February 14, 1955 to Walter and Earlena Stretch. The family eventually moved to Oklahoma where she was raised. Brenda lived a very joyful and fulfilling life. After graduating from Muskogee High, she spent a majority of her career working in medical administration. In her spare time, she loved gardening, landscaping with her collection of rocks, family photography, OU football, attending family functions and hanging out with her friends. The things that brought her great joy were spending time with her dad Walter, spoiling her nieces and nephews and being with her best friend Debra. Brenda loved her sister Cynthia fiercely and had a special bond with her brother Jerry that no one else shared. The family would also like to express our deepest gratitude to cousin Pam Teel for her wonderful care and friendship. Brenda loved being with her dogs Bear, Kit Kat, and Snickers. The family is eternally grateful for Brenda always being behind the lens and capturing memories that will always be cherished. Her ultimate and unwavering testament was sharing the love of Jesus Christ with everyone she met. There is no replacement for this daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was preceded in death by her mother, Earlena Stretch, her niece, Season Jane Reed and her brother-in-law, Dr. David Lee. Brenda is survived by her father, Walter Stretch of Warner, OK. Her sister, Cynthia Lee of Moore, OK. Her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Beth Stretch of Warner, OK. Her niece and nephew, Melanie and Mark Millsap of Jefferson City, MO. Her nephew and niece, Josh and Lindsey Stretch of Warner, OK. Her niece and nephew, Jessica and Michael Hill of Oklahoma City, OK. Her niece and nephew, Jenny and Brad Davis of Warner, OK. And her nephew and niece, Jacob Stretch and Alaina Moore of Broken Arrow, OK. Great nieces and nephews, Makenzie Millsap, Mason and Hinson Millsap, Addison Reed, Keegan Reed, Elizabeth Stretch, Evan Lawless, Eva Lawless, Audrey Hill, Emma Hill, Ethan Hill, Alexander Hill, Grace Davis, Abraham Davis, Amelia Stretch. Her very dear childhood friend, Debra Battey Swyden and many other extended family and friends. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be 10AM, Friday, December 16, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh McElyea officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery with Josh Stretch, Jacob Stretch, Michael Hill, Brad Davis, Mark Millsap, Mason Millsap, Josh Ford and Mark Cochran serving as pallbearers.
