Connie Williams

Connie V. Williams, 80, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 11, 1944, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Connie lived a life full of warmth, love, and dedication. She attended public school and graduated from Manual Training High School with the class of 1961. She proudly served her country as a member of the United States Air Force beginning July 6, 1964 and received an honorable discharge on July 5, 1968. She furthered her education receiving a bachelor’s degree from Central State University, now UCO, in 1970. Connie married Arthur Robert Williams on April 19, 1973 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They shared many years of life, marriage, and memories together. She loved baking and crafting. She was a member of Boulevard Christian Church. Connie was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is fondly remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her kindness, and her gentle spirit. Throughout her life, Connie touched the hearts of many with her generosity and compassion. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Barr; father, William Jackson; husband, Arthur Williams; and son, Jason Williams. Connie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sara Williams; grandchildren, Kaylee Williams, Alexander Williams, and Andrew Williams, all of Muskogee; sister, Adelle Barr Watson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; cousins, Karen Ealy and husband Eddie, James Nevels and family, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; special friends, Audrey Zollicoffer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sylvia Sims of Atlanta, Georgia, Roger and Marilyn Parks, Ray and Susan Harrison, Luke and Lisa Abel and family, all of Muskogee, Lois Miller and family of Panama City, Florida; and sister-in-law, Irene McKinney of Panama City, Florida; along with other family members and friends. Connie’s life will be celebrated at 10AM, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Blumenberg officiating and military honors being presented. Honorary pallbearers will be Alexander Williams, Andrew Williams, Luke Abel, Roger Parks, Ray Harrison, James Nevels, and Dustin Salmon. Private interment will follow.
