Dale W. Patterson

Dale Wayne Patterson passed from this life on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the age of 55. A few days prior to his passing, Dale chose to accept the eternal gift of being saved by his close friend and pastor, Cardell Coppin. Dale was born January 7, 1959 to Carl and Dorothy (Kella) Patterson in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was raised in Warner and continued to make his home there his entire life. He attended Warner High School where he graduated in 1977. During his high school years, Dale worked for Gloyd Miller at The Animal Vet Center. After graduation, he worked out of state on construction jobs. In 1981, he began working for Pate Ind for several years. After leaving Pate Ind, Dale began working in home construction for Junior Clark, an occupation he found to be very fulfilling. Carpentry was where Dale excelled and made a name for himself in the quality of work he performed. Over the last few years, Dale was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work side by side with his brother, Tank and two of his nephews. Dale was extremely talented and there wasn’t anything that he couldn’t accomplish. In 1977, Dale met Anita Nault. Through their relationship, he knew that she would be the one he wanted to marry. They were joined in marriage on January 19, 1979 at the Freewill Baptist Church in Keefeton, OK. They shared more than 35 years of marriage. From this marriage they were blessed with two children. Dale was preceded in death by a daughter and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Anita; sons, Dale Jr and wife Kayse, Dustin and wife Johnna, all of Warner; brothers, Carl Jr and wife June of Edmond, OK, Kendall and wife Twyla, Cecil (Tank) and wife Melissa of Warner; sisters, Marilyn Hull and husband Larry of Tulsa, Nancy Morris of Warner; half-brother, Shelby Lee Raines of Braggs; grandchildren, Carter and Hannah (better known to Grandpa as “Carter Man and Sissy Girl”), and in the future will be Connor Dale Wayne Patterson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends, whom he dearly loved. In the 55 years Dale lived, he shared enough love and kindness to fill 100 lifetimes. He was the kind of person that everyone knew they could count on for anything. He was always there when a helping hand was needed and never expected anything in return. Dale will always be remembered as one of the strongest and hardest working individuals that blessed this earth. He was truly a blessing to those who were able call him a friend or family. Dale will be deeply missed by all whom were lucky enough to have known him.
