David William Scrivner

David William “Dave” Scrivner, 72, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on August 7, 2026. He was born May 29, 1954 to Robert Earl Scrivner and Mary Louise (Heddins) Scrivner in Decatur, Illinois. He was a high school graduate and earned his bachelor’s degree in management at the University of Illinois. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Dave was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Connie Delaine (Honea) Scrivner, whom he married on February 18, 2003, on Sanibel Island, Florida. Together, they shared many wonderful years filled with love and companionship. Dave was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent much of his career as a Quality Control Supervisor with HK Logistics and Caterpillar. He retired in 2019 from Tri Town Construction in Ft. Myers, Florida. He also worked as a bailiff in Peoria County, Illinois, which he loved. Dave will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered. His kindness, devotion to his family, and the memories he created with those he loved will live on forever. Though he is no longer with us, his love remains in the hearts of his family and friends. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Connie Scrivner of the home; stepdaughters, Emily Erin Foote and her partner, Jake Doty of AZ, Melinda B. Mestek and her husband, Nathan of IL; grandchildren, Maureen, Nolan, and Ellie Mestek; father-in-law, Thomas Honea of Muskogee, OK; sisters-in-law, Fawnie Honea and Julie Rizzo of IL; stepbrother Darren Judkins and his wife, Peggy of OK; stepsister Cindy Metzger and her husband, Lee of OK; stepbrother Ryan Judkins of OK; stepsister Shannon Brooks and her husband, Sejin of TX; and many other family members and friends who were blessed to know him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl Scrivner and Mary Louise Scrivner; his brother, Robert L. Scrivner; his mother-in-law, Betty Honea; and his sister-in-law, Vonnie (Honea) Long. A family conducted memorial service will be 1PM, Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Grace Episcopal Church with Father Omar Cisneros serving as celebrant.
