Deborah Sue Wright

Deborah Sue Wright, 46, Muskogee, died Friday, January 7, 2011 in Muskogee. Deb was born January 8, 1964 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Sidney Lee and Patricia J. Wright. She was a legal secretarial technology student at Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee. Deb was selected for Who’s Who among students in American Junior and Community Colleges. Selection criteria included a 3.5 grade point average in a minimum of 72 college credit hours. She received an Applied Science Degree in Administrative Assistant and was also the Valedictorian. Deb started work for Morr Control in 1983 in accounting. In 1996 she worked for Advantage Control as an accountant. She later moved to Texas and worked in accounting for Advanced Micro Devices. Deb’s last position was with Ms. Cheryl’s Creative Development Center as an accountant. Deb was preceded in death by her grandparents, Euel and Jodie Pitman of Muskogee; Clarence and Pearl Wright of Muskogee; uncle, Darrell Boos of Broken Arrow; nephew, Dakota Bratcher of Muskogee; and special friend, Janet Barth-Powell of McDade, Texas. She is survived by her son, Kyle Wright of McDade, Texas; mother and father, Pattie and Sidney Wright of Muskogee; brother Jeff Wright and wife Gwenn of Muskogee; sister, Sheri Wright and husband Kenneth Knott of Muskogee; sister, Lee Ann Wright of Muskogee; sister, Melissa Tingel and husband Kyle of Muskogee; nieces, Morgan Knott, Summer Bratcher and Sidney Till of Muskogee; nephews Alex Knott, Justice Bratcher, Bradey Tingel and Marshall Till of Muskogee; aunt, Joyce Boos of Broken Arrow; aunt and uncle, Ellen and Roy Thames of Muskogee; aunt and uncle Glenda and Euel (Buster) Pitman of Muskogee; aunt and uncle, Faye and Montie Wright of Muskogee; special cousins, Maureen Weathers and Kathy Moore of Wagoner; David Todd of Muskogee; Mike and David Boos of Broken Arrow; and numerous other family members and friends. She was blessed with two loving best friends, Cheryl Osburn of McDade, Texas and Kelly Smith of Muskogee. They have been a blessing to our family. We would also like to thank all of the nurses at Home Town Hospice for their caring, compassion, comfort and the wonderful care they gave to Debbie. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund for Debbie has been set up with American Bank of Oklahoma at the corner of York and Chandler. A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Bryan Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Lee Wright, Jeff “Tinman” Wright, Kenneth Knott, Kyle Tingel, “Tap” Pantle, and Jim Cheek.
