Delina Ann Fox

Delina Ann Fox, 58, of Warner, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 in her home surrounded by family. She was born September 4th, 1963 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Duane Smith and Dorothy Garrison. She graduated from Hobart High School in 1981 and went on to complete two years of college at Western Oklahoma State College. In July of 1988 she met future husband, Wade Fox. Delina had a daughter, Michelle Sutton, and Wade had two daughters, Mallisa and Rachel Fox, and one son, Marshall Fox. They moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma where they later had a son, Michael Fox. Delina and Wade were married on April 21st, 1997. Then in 2003 they were blessed with another son, Tyler Fox. Delina was an all-around good person, she was hardworking and made sure her family never went without. She was someone you could always count on for advice, a shoulder to cry on, or just to be there. She was a fierce protector and loved hard. She had an infectious smile that lit up her beautiful green eyes. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed spending time with her family more than anything especially her eleven grandchildren! She was preceded in death by her, paternal grandparents, Robert and Georgia Smith; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Ruby Garrison; father, Duane Smith; mother, Dorothy Garrison; and sister, Michelle Garrison. She is survived by her husband, Wade Fox of Warner, OK; daughter, Michelle Sutton and husband Russell of Muskogee, OK; sons, Michael Fox and Tyler Fox both of Warner, OK; stepson, Marshall Fox of Fort Gibson, OK; stepdaughters, Mallisa Fox and Rachel Fox both of Fort Gibson, OK; brothers, Reggie Smith and wife Sherri of Hobart, OK and Yone Halstead and wife Deanna of Texas; sister, Denise Knight and husband Alex of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren, Chelsea, Shawn, Dalton, Carsyn, Layne, Layton, Makynlee, Kamden, Addyson, Kylei, and Adolai; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Delina’s life will be 2PM, Friday, May 6th, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Blaine Ross officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery Pavilion with Cody Smith, Neil Teague, Allando Ousley, Robert Lockwood, Aaron Royse, and Cody Royse all serving as pallbearers.
