Donna Sue Roachell

Donna Sue Roachell, 55, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born on July 16, 1962 to David Mitchell Rogers III and Norma “Sue” (Cunningham) Rogers in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Donna graduated from Warner High School with the class of 1980 and then attended Connors State College. She married Thomas C. Roachell on April 7, 1997 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They shared over 20 years of life and marriage together. Donna worked as a phlebotomist, an educator in the education department and CPR instructor at Muskogee Reginal Medical Center for 28 years and retired in 2007. She enjoyed coloring in her art books and would share the pictures with her grandchildren. Family was very important to Donna and she tried to spend as much time as possible with them. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Donna was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bunk and Maude Rogers and her maternal grandparents, Haskell and Daisy Cunningham. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Tom Roachell; parents, David Rogers III and Sue Rogers; daughters, Amber Cox and husband Jason, and Ashley Currie and husband Jon; step-sons, Kristopher Roachell and wife Christie, and Stephin Roachell; step-daughter, Tiffany Livingston and husband Tori; grandchildren, Ayden Cox, Cale Cox, Katelynn Currie, Kimber Currie, Christian Roachell, Kierstyn Roachell, Tavin Livingston and Tinley Livingston; brother, Mitch Rogers and wife Kim; nieces and nephews, Josh Rogers and wife Ashley and their children, Chloey, Cole, Trinity and Ty, April Edgemon and husband Brian and their children, Kabree, Cage and Journey; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Donna’s life will be 1:00P.M., Tuesday, January 16, 2017 at Keefeton Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Barks officiating. Interment will follow at Agnew Cemetery with David “Mitch” Rogers IV, Jason Cox, Brian Edgemon, Jon Currie, Josh Rogers, Kris Roachell and Stephin Roachell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Aden Cox, Cale Cox, Tavin Livingston, Christian Roachell and Cole Rogers.
