E. Pauline Weatherford

E. Pauline Weatherford, 91, of Muskogee, OK graduated from this life to eternal life September 24, 2021. She was born May 12,1930 in Warner, OK to Thomas J. Hiseley and Minnie A. Boatman Hiseley. Pauline married Richard (D.J. or Red) Weatherford July 20, 1946, in Ft. Smith, AR and had just recently celebrated their 75th Anniversary. Mom was not career oriented; she loved working alongside her husband and supporting and encouraging him in his endeavors. Whether it was raising cattle, baling hay, or building metal buildings she was there working right alongside him. Both Pauline and Richard, devoted their lives to God and spreading His gospel. They first began as evangelists and from there they went to pastoring several churches in the Muskogee area. She taught Sunday School, led the booster band, and filled in wherever she was needed. Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ was important to mom and she never let an opportunity slip by without telling someone about God’s love. Music was also a passion of mom and dad and they never turned down an opportunity to use their talents for God. Mom and dad lived in Braggs from 1975 to 2014 when they had to move to Muskogee for health reasons. Mom loved the country life. She always planted a garden, canned or froze vegetables and made jelly. She loved to cook and always looked forward to having her family come home for big family dinners. Mom also enjoyed sewing and making quilts. She was an extraordinary mother, she was selfless and always put her family’s needs before her own. Pauline was preceded in death by all ten of her siblings and a very special son-in-law, Andy Moore. Leaving behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Richard Weatherford; daughter, Dessa and Dr. Gloyd Miller; son, Rick and Theresa Weatherford; daughter, Gaye and Dave Roadruck, daughter, Paula and Jeff Hamlin; grandchildren, Beth and Chad Farmer, Cami and Wesley Seabolt, Rickey and Misty Weatherford, Matthew and Mary Jane Hamlin, Seth and Kasie Hamlin, and Levi Hamlin; great-grandchildren: Shayne and Jordyn Farmer, Wren and Cade Seabolt, Julia and Hank Hamlin, Dakota and Saige Hamlin; along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Also, left to cherish her memory are two special friends/caregivers, Glendale Craig who spent four years with her and Jeanette Cook who had been with her for over two years. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 @ Cornerstone Funeral Home. Pauline’s life will be celebrated at 2PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Grandview Tabernacle, 405 E Peak Blvd, Muskogee with Bro. Don Hayes and Bro. Terry Tatum officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Bill Cude, Chad Farmer, Wesley Seabolt, Rickey Weatherford, Matthew Hamlin, Seth Hamlin, Levi Hamlin and Cade Seabolt serving as pallbearers.
