Easton D. Morgan

Easton Drake Morgan (19) passed away unexpectedly and tragically on October 19, 2023. He was born December 5, 2003, to Nik Morgan and Kristi Chambers-Sheeder. Easton burst into this world earlier than planned, but from the day he was born, he brought so much sunshine to all that he loved and all that loved him. Easton had a smile that would light up the room! He loved hard and made sure those he loved knew it, without a doubt. He taught his friends to love others and to always forgive their other friends because he knew at the end of the day their love and friendship was worth more than any disagreement. Easton was determined in every aspect of his life. He overcame his weaknesses, struggles and speech challenges and as you know, he never stopped talking!!!!! Easton was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through his life experiences and his incredible work ethic. Easton was very fond of being outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. It was a well-known fact that he could make a fish grow by 10 pounds in the time it took him to walk up from the pond and tell us about his catch. Easton loved to practice wilderness survival skills like starting camp-fires and whittling sticks into spears. He loved to shoot his bow, .22 rifle and he was quite skilled at shooting skeet. He enjoyed roping, working out, and training to be an MMA fighter. He loved working with animals. He will be missed by his horse Kamali and dogs Bryman, Dixie, Ruger and Odie. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. He will be missed dearly. Easton came into this life 7 weeks early and left many years too soon. Easton was preceded in death by his grandpa, Bud (Poo) Morgan; great-grandpa, Jerry (Pawpaw) Echols; and Pepa David Shelton. Easton is survived by his mother, Kristi and bonus dad Travis Sheeder; father, Nik Morgan; sister, Alyx Moore; brother, Jaxson Morgan; bonus parents, Eddie and Christy Moore; bonus siblings, Addison Lockhart and Cayman Alexander; grandparents, Sheila Chambers, Lonnie Chambers, Sheryl Shelton, Eddie and Lisa Moore; great- grandparents, Jackie Shelton and Brenda Echols; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Mary Gritts, Tami Sheeder, Bubby and Keeley Morgan, Jordan and Amber Morgan, Ben Moore, Lauren and Brian Wilkins; special love, Katharine Anderson; numerous other great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family, and friends. Easton loved and was loved by so many people; we cannot begin to list them all. The viewing of his most precious self will be at Cornerstone Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 10a-8p. Easton Drake Morgan’s celebration of life will be at 1PM, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Muskogee First Assembly of God on Gulick. Burial to follow at Agnew Cemetery on Elm Grove Rd. Pallbearers will be Kort, Dylan, Cody, Kasey, Clint, Brayden, Connor, and Cayman. Honorary pallbearers will be Alyx, Jaxson, Addison, Taylor, Joey, Alivia, Brantlee, Pyper, Maverick, Kooper, Amelia, Chandler, and Kendyl.
