Forest Levi "FL" Daniels

Forest Levi “FL” Daniels of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered Heaven’s gates on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the age of 87. He was born October 14, 1928 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Joseph David Daniels and Josephine “Josie” Daniels. FL attended public schools and graduated from Muskogee Central High School with the class of 1946. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War. He reached the rank of Sgt First Class when he was Honorably discharged in 1952. FL met and later married the love of his life, Shirley Maxine Holt on December 13, 1955. They shared more than 60 years of life and marriage together. They faithfully attended Muskogee First Assembly where he was a Sunday School teacher for the senior men’s class. He will always be remembered for his strong work ethic. He was self employed and the business owner of FL Daniels Home Movers for over 60 years. FL loved to read book of all kinds. Most important was his love for God and his family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his son, Forest Lee Daniels; parents, Joseph and Josie Daniels; brothers, Thomas Lindsey Daniels, James Joseph Daniels, and Quincy Arles Daniels; sister, Joy E. Daniels. FL is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; his children, Bill Daniels and wife Debby of Ft. Gibson, OK, Ray Bob Daniels and wife Sheila of Haskell, OK, Kathy Brown and husband Tommy, Sandy Bargar, all of Muskogee, OK, and Kenneth Daniels of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandchildren, Eric Daniels and wife Melinda, Eric R. Daniels and wife Sondra, Sean Moses, Mitch Daniels, Dessa Woolverton, Ryan Daniels, Christopher Daniels and wife Leah, J D Woolverton, Richard Brown, Brady Daniels, Kolby Daniels, and Jesse Daniels; numerous great grandchildren, other family members and friends. Funeral services honoring FL’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2016 at Muskogee First Assembly of God Church with Dr. Steve Rose and Sr. Pastor Gene Bebee officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with Eric R. Daniels, Sean Moses, Mitch Daniels, Christopher Daniels, J D Woolverton, Richard Brown, Brady Daniels, and Kolby Daniels serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Daniels, Dessa Woolverton, Ryan Daniels, and Jesse Daniels.
