Fred Davis Gilley Jr

Fred Davis Gilley, Jr., 79, of Paoli, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was born on June 30, 1939 to Fred Davis Gilley, Sr. and Jaunita Morrison Gilley in Council Hill, Oklahoma. Fred attended school at both Oktaha Public School and Wainwright Public School growing up and was a high school graduate. He married the love of his life, Beverly Ann Kappel, on April 18, 1958. They shared over 60 years of a wonderful life and marriage together. Fred was the owner of Gilley Plumbing for many years and retired in 2006. He was always known as a very dependable and hard worker all of his life. Fred loved spending as much time as he could with his family. He was very proud of his three children, his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fred will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred, Sr. and Juanita Gilley; brother, Raymond Gilley; sister-in-law, Dorothy Gilley; nephews, Carey and Andrew; and niece, Sarah. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beverly Gilley; children, Freda Dial and husband David, Gary Gilley and wife Misty, and Lonnie Gilley and wife Laura; grandchildren, Wayne, Dianne, Greg, Scott, Ashley, Sara, Nikki, Trey and Emily; great-grandchildren, Zach, Audrina, Lexi, Issac, Landon, Logan, Zoey, Adalyn, Avery, Benjamin, Paisley, Hunter, Hadley, Scarlett, Krista and Evan; sister, Judy Crumm; nephews, Geoff and Steve; and many other family members and friends. A family visitation will be 5:30P.M.-7:30P.M., Thursday, August, 23, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A celebration of Fred’s life will be 10:00A.M., Friday, August 24, 2018 at Warner First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Ward officiating. Pallbearers will be Wayne Dial, Greg Gilley, Scott Gilley, Trey Gilley, Jeremiah Shaw, Kyle Sallee, Joshua Esparza and Ian Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be his special friends, David Kendall and Gary Avant.
