Heather Nicole O'Dell

Heather Nicole O’Dell, 33, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. She was born on December 16, 1988 to Floyd and Cydney (Crossland) O’Dell in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She attended Wainwright Baptist Church in her youth and graduated from Muskogee High School in 2007. Heather loved to spend time on her computer talking and playing video games with her friends around the world. Heather loved her cats, Meow and Min; they were very important to her. Heather would spend time with her family and loved the holidays with them. Heather and her Aunt Kathy would sit and gossip for hours. One of her favorite movies was The Nightmare Before Christmas, she had a stuffed Jack that went everywhere with her. She took him to every hospital and rehab facility she went to. She was an avid collector of ceramic dolphins, Christmas bears, stuffed Pokémon, and assorted knickknacks. Heather had a close relationship with her nurse Scott and Heather her PTA. Heather's family would like to say a special Thank You to Cohesive Home Health, Scott Brown LPN and Heather "Flower" Cook PTA, St. Francis Hospital Staff, Cornerstone LTAC Staff especially Vicky Comer, Muskogee County EMS and First Responders. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd O’Dell II; maternal grandmother, Linda Yandell; maternal grandfather, Sidney Crossland; paternal grandparents, Margie and Jim Arnett; grandfather, Floyd O’Dell; uncles, Jimmy Arnett and Thomas Crossland; and aunt, Nona Bryant. She is survived by her mother, Cydney O’Dell; brother, Brandon O’Dell; maternal grandfather; Robert Yandell; uncles and aunts, Leroy and Kathy Parris, Joe and Tammy Crossland, Arlyn and Sandra Imel, Mike and Carol O’Dell, Bill and Cindy Farr, and James Noblitt all of Muskogee, OK, Mitchell O’Dell, Michelle White, Lori Miller, Mark and Marcy Colley, Eddie and Kristie Edward, Pat and Edie Harmon all of Fort Gibson, OK; best friend, Heather Eaton of Muskogee, OK; 56 loving cousins; and numerous friends around the world. A celebration of Heather’s life will be 2PM, Monday, October 10, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Underwood officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Yadon, Nick Thompson, Michael Parris, Daniel Parris, Jeremy Parris, Tommy Parris, Josh O’Dell, Kevin Graham, and Patrick Harmon.
