James Earnest “JE” Daily, 62, of Gore, Oklahoma went to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born on August 7, 1959 to Lester Eugene Daily and Bertie Marie (Hornback) Daily in Tulsa, Oklahoma. JE graduated from Braggs High School with the class of 1978. JE worked as a forklift driver at Oklahoma Rig for many years. He loved spending time with his kids and granddaughter. JE enjoyed going fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed watching basketball, softball and baseball games. You could always catch him on Friday nights at Greenleaf watching the fish weigh in. Not an evening went by you wouldn’t see him driven Braggs bottoms. JE will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester “Gene” and Bertie Daily; brother, Harold Gene Daily; great-grandparents, John and Eva Hornback and Earnest and Mary Daily. JE is survived by his son, Kade Daily of Braggs, OK; daughter, Baili Kizzia of Fort Gibson, OK; granddaughter, Gentri Kizzia of Fort Gibson, OK; ex-wife, Donna Daily of Braggs, OK; brother, Caroll (Punk) Daily of Gore, OK; nephews, Michael Daily and wife Tiffany of Gore, OK, and Marcus Daily and wife Jessy of Boswell, OK; niece, April Smith and husband Derek of Braggs, OK; great-nephews and great-neices, Emily Daily, Maden Smith, Kinley Daily, Gus Smith and Lori Smith; and many other family members and friends. His family will greet friends, 1PM-3PM, both Saturday, August 28, 2021 and Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A celebration of JE’s life will be 10AM, Monday, August 30, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. George Hubbard and Pastor Eric Reeve officiating. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery with Caroll (Punk) Daily, Michael Daily, Marcus Daily, Derek Smith, Ronnie White and Jarrod Ward serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Laymon Stanfill, Andy White, Greg Lafferty, Josh Brewster, Jerry Dotson, Jeff Ward, Larry Terrell and Wayne Daily.
