Joane Faith Busby May 17, 1934 – September 2, 2026 Joane Faith Schinkoeth, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all that knew her passed peacefully on September 2, 2026, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, at the age of 92. She was born on May 17, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, to Frank and Florence Hildebrand. She graduated from High School, was married, and brought into this world the first of her 3 children Michael. 3 years later, a daughter Robin was born and two years later a son named Timothy. She was proud of her children and their successes in life. Joane was married to a wonderful man, Thomas Jefferson Busby, on March 28, 1980. He was her soulmate for life, and companion in adventure in seeking out antiques in off-beat places and finding treasures in places that nobody else would see in plain sight. Joane had a way of putting displays together in her home with the collections they would gather that showed her creativity and imagination. They were both very happy together. Joane, in her early life, worked for the Free Press, in Elgin Illinois. She also worked for many years as a Medical Transcriptionist, for Sherman Hospital, in Elgin, Illinois, and Wagoner Hospital, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Her favorite job however was that of being a housewife to her husband and a mother to her three kids that she was so proud of for their achievements. The family can be comforted in knowing that Joane is at peace and in the comfort of God’s hands and the beautiful place he had prepared for her with unimaginable love and peace free of any pain that was left behind on this earth. She is survived by the love of her life Thomas Jefferson Busby. She is also survived by her three children and their spouses, Michael and Sharon Schinkoeth, Robin and Richard Paulson, and Timothy and Tamara Schinkoeth. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their significant others, Heather Caprio, Keith Schinkoeth and Genevieve Long, Erica and Rob Zarnstorff, Nickie and Edwin Corrine, Raquel and Chris Abernathy, Jonathan and Kristin Schinkoeth and Steven Schinkoeth. She is also survived by a legacy of 15 great grandchildren. Joane loved life and life loved her. The world lost one of the good ones and heaven gained a new angel! Joane loved animals and would want to be remembered for that! In lieu of any flowers, she would wish you to donate to your local animal shelter.
