Keith "Ray" Brewster

Keith “Ray” Brewster left this earth for a heavenly adventure on October 14, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on March 15, 1956 to Keith Brewster and Doenye Elaine Webb in Muskogee, OK. Ray graduated from Muskogee High School in 1974 where he was a drummer in the Rougher Marching Band. Ray married the love of his life Carole Lynn Michals Brewster on May 22, 1976 in Muskogee, OK. They shared 45 years of life, marriage and memories together. Ray began his career at City Chevrolet in Muskogee, OK in the paint and body shop. He later moved to State Farm Insurance Company in Tulsa, OK where he worked his way up to become an adjuster. He left there to start Brewster’s Paint and Body Shop in Muskogee, OK. After 15 years of success, Ray bought Property Damage Appraisers in Tulsa, OK where he and his wife worked together for the next 16 years until they retired in 2016. Ray enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, restoring antique firearms, collecting knives, firearms and NASCAR diecast. He loved watching anything from dirt track to NASCAR racing. He was also a certified Glock Armorer. His most prized possession was his family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Doenye Brewster; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Grace Michals; and brother Mike Brewster. Ray is survived by his wife, Carole Brewster of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Melissa Howell and husband Kenny of Denton, TX; granddaughter, Emma Grace Howell; son, Stephen Brewster and wife Krista of Edmond, OK; granddaughters, Stevie Rose and Saige Nichole; bonus son, Antonio Graham and wife Shawna of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter Tatum; grandson, Zachary; sisters-in-law Sharon Michals of Tulsa, OK, Pam Upton and husband Mike of Muskogee, OK; brothers-in-law, Buddy Michals and wife Kathy of Muskogee, OK, David Michals and wife Valarie of Evans, GA and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services celebrating Ray’s life will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Yarbrough officiating. The family would like to express a special “Thank you” to Roserock Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
