Kim Ledford-Prinz

Kim Renee Ledford was born September 5, 1974 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She went to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, March 22, 2015. Her home church was Oldham Memorial Baptist Church. She was saved as a teenager at Falls Creek Church Camp. Kim graduated in 1992 from Muskogee High School. She obtained her manicurist license from Tulsa Beauty College, an Associate’s degree from Connors State College, and a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University. She did course work at the University of Southern Mississippi in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Kim would have loved to work with marine life. Kim enjoyed a short time working for Dr. Blake at her veterinary clinic. She then spent the next seventeen years as a manicurist. She adored all of her clients. She loved animals especially dogs. As a child she would often bring home strays for her family to adopt. Her dogs were her best buddies. Kim had a compassionate heart for animals as well as people. Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Ruth Ledford, and Joe Paxton and Millicent Teaff Mason. She is survived by her parents, Ron and Linda Ledford of Council Hill, OK; brother, Kris Ledford and wife Taryn and their children, Avery Hope Ledford and Nicholas Allen Ledford all of Broken Arrow, OK; aunts, Annetta Frank, Linda J. Ledford, Frankie Richardson- Gomez all of Muskogee, OK, and Nelda Daughtery of Binger, OK; uncles, Gary Ledford and wife Gale of Council Hill, OK, Jerry Ledford and wife Mary of Tulsa, OK, Larry Ledford and wife Rose of St. Louis, MO; beloved cousins, Audra Boswell, Steven Ledford, Charity Todd, Jessie Cunningham, Tammy Kushmick, Chad Daughtery, Tracy Schaefer, Shelley Mackey, Russell Richardson, Jerry Ledford, Jr., Michael Ledford, Kevin Ledford, Preston Boice; very special friends, Melanie Marshall, Brian Garner, and Robert Stewart; and a host of close friends. A memorial service honoring Kim’s life will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 27, 2015 at Oldham Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Glen Little and Rev. Tom Shelton officiating.
