Kimberly Kaye Richardson-McGuire

Kimberly Kaye Richardson McGuire, 50, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She grew up in Muskogee where she attended school and graduated with honors from Muskogee High School in 1980. Kimberly furthered her education attending both Hillcrest Radiology Technology Institute in Tulsa, graduating in 1982, and Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute in Little Rock, Arkansas, graduating in 1986. She proudly accomplished her goal of working as a Radiation Therapist. Kimberly loved to rodeo and enjoyed her cat, Kizzie. She was a lifetime member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Muskogee. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Calvert; her grandparents, Terry Lee and Lesbie Lyle, J.E. and Sunnie Calvert, Marvin and Lorene Smith; her brother, Tim Walker; her sister, Terry Lynn Calvert; and her special friend, Rusty Wiggins. Kimberly is survived by her mother, Darlene Mayne; father, Bill Richardson and wife, Catherine of Muskogee; son, Curtis McGuire and wife, Summer; her grandson, Caleb McGuire of Stigler; her sisters, Dona Davis and husband, Richard, Tracy Swink and husband, Pete of Muskogee; brother, Michael Calvert of Early, Texas; nieces, Courtney Fairman, Ashlee Swink; nephews, Sam Swink and wife, Brittany, J.C. Richardson, T.C. Walker; great nieces, Brooklyn White, Riylee Swink, Madison and Makenna Richardson; great nephew, Jonathan Rogers; many aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, and many friends. Funeral services for Kimberly will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darren Beller and Tim Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee with J.C. Richardson, Sam Swink, Scott Schroder, Mark Lyle, John McGuire, and Curtis McGuire serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Swink, Carl Schroder, Richard Davis, and Eddie Parker. The family wishes to extend a very special “Thank You” to Chaplain David Blake , Tamara Featherston, Danielle Dinardo, and Aretha Brown, from Hometown Hospice for their loving and tender care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First Freewill Baptist Church, 1228 Patterson, Muskogee, OK., 74403.
