Lee Orrin Stovall

Lee Orrin Stovall, 61, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024. He was born March 29,1963 to James Stovall and Bobbie Burks. He attended Fresno High School and received a GED so he could enlist in the Army. Lee served in the Army as a 2nd Armored Cavalry Scout from April 1981 until March 1988. He served in the Air Force from 1988-1989 as well. He served in the Cold War in Germany on the wall for most of his time in the Army. Lee found the love of his life later in life and married Carla Renae Dawson in October of 2016. With her came 3 children and the start of many grandkids who you couldn’t convince weren’t his! He loved those grand-babies with his whole heart! Lee loved animals of all kinds and was known to bring home any random animal at anytime! He loved his pigeons and enjoyed raising them and having them fly and race around his property! He loved monster cars and had quite the collection of RC cars and Model Airplanes. He enjoyed any activity that included his family and he had been on many adventures with them in the past few years! He was preceded in death by both his parents, James and Bobby; As well as his sister Sharon Randelman. Lee is survived by his loving wife, Carla of the home; daughter, Ashley Harris and husband Josh of Oktaha; sons, Colton McCoy and wife Ashley of Muskogee, and Justin Barber and wife AubreyAnna of Muskogee; grandchildren, Carlee, Channing, Croy, Aubrey, Lucas, and one more on the way; brother, William Beck and wife Karen of Eufaula; brother-in-law, Don Randleman; mother-in-law, Linda Dawson of Haskell; special friends and siblings as he would call them, John Hilton, Forest Tomlinson, and Donna Zarmony; along with many nieces, nephews, and other family members. The family will receive friends from 3-5pm, Sunday May 5, 2024 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel. A service will be held Monday, May 6, 2024 at 10am at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Everette McAnally officiating. A burial ceremony will proceed afterwards at Brushy Mountain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Colton McCoy, Justin Barber, Joshua Harris, Logan Rhodes, Hunter Rackley, and Tyler Reynolds.
