Marjorie "Louise" Norman

Marjorie “Louise” Norman, 79, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was born May 23, 1943 in Parsons, Kansas to Gerald and Marjorie Ruth (Sloan) Yeoman. Louise attended public schools and graduated from Parsons High School. After her high school graduation, she attended beauty school in Independence, Kansas. Louise worked as a hairdresser for many years owning her own salon, “Noggin Nook”. Later she was the owner of a restaurant called “Country Kitchen”. She retired from “CEII” in 2004. She married Jerry Wayne Norman on July 19, 2005 in Miami, Oklahoma. They shared more than 17 years of life, marriage and making memories together. She loved spending time outdoors; hunting, shooting her bow, fishing and shooting her guns. She also loved traveling, antique shopping and auctions, and growing plants; especially her tomato plants. Louise will always be remembered for her love for God and her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Ruth Williamson; father, Gerald Johnathan Yeoman Sr; grandmother, Mary Yeoman; sons, Lannie Garrett and Kenneth Barsch; daughter, Marretta Barsch; brothers, Larry Yeoman and Pat Yeoman; and grandson, Marcus Pilkington. Louise is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; daughter, LaDonna Martin and husband Charles; stepchildren, Heather Edwards, Leo Edwards, both of Velma, OK, Kevin Norman of Stonewall, OK; siblings, Jerry Yeoman of Joplin, MO, Sam Yeoman and wife Becky of Big Cabin, OK, Nancy Marlow and husband Dick of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Zachary Pilkington, Cameron Pilkington, Whitney Cardenas and husband Mario, Amanda Moody, Tyler Edwards, Dillon Edwards and Cody Edwards; great-grandchildren, Zoey Pilkington, Macy Robertson, Chris Moody and Blake Muck; great-great-grandchildren, Elijah Freeman Bowers and Heaven Marretta Bowers; along with other family members and friends. Louise’s life will be celebrated at 11AM, Friday, November 18, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Linda Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow at Big Cabin Cemetery in Big Cabin, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Zachary Pilkington, Cameron Pilkington, Steve Pilkington, Mario Cardenas, Christopher Moody and Blake Muck serving as pallbearers.
