Mary Seber Blevins

Mary Seber Blevins, 89, a lifetime resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma, went to be with Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2020. She was born on October 2, 1931 to Roy Lee Spinks and Alice (Bent) Spinks. She lived with her family on Bacone Campus, attended Bacone public school and graduated from Bacone College. She later went to Northeastern State College attaining a master’s degree. She was of the Karuk tribe out of California and of the White Mountain Apache tribe. Mary worked at Muskogee Public Schools as a counselor until she retired. She attended the Life United Methodist Church for more than 20 years and Bacone College Baptist Church for more than 36 years. Mary enjoyed playing the piano, watching ballgames, going to the movies, watching OU sports, being around her grandchildren, and going to singings, traveling, and going for scenic drives. Mary loved her church family dearly. She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Edward Seber and Bobby Joe Blevins; parents, Roy and Alice Spinks; sister, Grace Coppinger; brother, Chester Spinks; daughter, Sandy J. Sisco; grandchildren, Denny Sisco, Sandra Jane Beach (Usde) and Clint Mullican; her grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, and numerous friends. Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Alice Beach, Lori Mullican, and Judy Vann; son, John Seber; brother, Roger Spinks; grandchildren, Stoney Sisco, Marilyn Kelly, Steven Seber, Loy Beach, Wren Beach, Matt Mullican, Jennifer Mullican, James Mullican, Quinn Hunter, and Clayton Bailey; great-grandchildren, Kiyah Sisco, Joseph Sherrill, Landon and Addison Hunter, Dean and Wrangler Mullican, Mia Mullican, and Ollie Seber; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Funeral services celebrating Mary’s life will be 2PM, Monday, November 30, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Richard Wildcat officiating. Pallbearers will be Stoney Sisco, Loy Beach, Quinn Hunter, Matt Mullican, James Mullican, and Clayton Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be John Seber, Dennis Sisco, Chuck Beach, Nicky Vann, Cody Williams, and Marvin Fleming.
