Frances Bible

Mary “Frances” Bible entered her eternal slumber peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Friends and family will say their final goodbyes to her on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Her brother, Eddy Sherman, will officiate her services. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be family members, Vladimir DiCristofaro, Stoney Martin, Erich Bechtel, Gavin Jobe, Jay Essley, Keigan Reid, and Dimitri DiCristofaro. Her family remembers Frances as everything but ordinary, so the family invites you to come expecting to celebrate Frances’ life. Frances was born July 22, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Henryetta Sherman. She graduated from East Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Growing up she was proud to support the school mascot, The Cardinals. Her life-long best friends, Doris Kay and Brenda Gail made sure T-Town didn’t forget about the beautiful ladies that had nothing but the closest to sisterly love while terrorizing the streets of T-Town. Needless to say, they left their impression. Frances’ daughters, Amber Bible and Christy Jobe (Armstrong) were able to fill her final days with laughter, classic jokes and grandchildren. She was fortunate enough to watch her eldest granddaughter, Stormy Ramsey, give her the first of her great grandchildren; a little girl named Ariah. The girls recall that their Mother was nostalgic with ‘whole hearted smiles and that she was fortunate to stay positive during her illness. Frances is survived by her daughters, Amber Bible and Christy Jobe (son-in-law, Vladimir DiCristofaro), both of Webbers Falls; her grandchildren, Stormy Ramsey, Gavin Jobe, Jay Essley, Ariel Essley, Keigan Reid, Dimitri DiCristofaro, Vallorie Armstrong and Aubrey DiCristofaro; a great granddaughter, Ariah Bechtel; a sister, Leanna Steeley of Broken Arrow; three brothers, Eddy Sherman and his wife, Denice of Washington, Roger Sherman and his wife, Skeeter of Verdigris, OK, and Timmy Ellis and his wife, Kelly of Tulsa; and “Daddy” to her girls, Robert Bible of Coweta; other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Sherman; her mother, Henryetta (Prevette) Sherman; her sister, Martha Sue; her step-father, Rockefeller Ellis; her ex-husband, Gary Armstrong; and her niece, Jamie Sue Johnson. Her daughters know she is watching from above and all around; looking after her children, grandchildren, siblings and other loved ones. Her memory is like a blanket that will cover all around us when we think of her. She was a fantastic Aunt, Mother and Friend and one-of-a-kind ex-wife. Frances followed her light home and will continue to shine for us being our own ‘personal lighthouse.’ So our condolences to everyone whose heart that may be heavy…but find peace in these facts…She is flying high, buzzing around with the hummingbirds and shining brighter than ever because the beacon of light and hope that is her spirit will show the way home. So our gift to you is the Lighthouse that is our Mother. We Love You Mom, Amber and Christy
