Michael R. Moore

Michael Randall Moore, 60, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. He was born March 15, 1955 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Charles Albert Moore and Faye Lorene Sams Moore. Mike attended public schools and graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 1973. He furthered his education at Oklahoma University until leaving to become an electrician. Mike was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the IBEW Local Union 700 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He married Kathy Hessenflow in October of 1999 in Kansas City, MO and shared more than 15 years of life and marriage together. Mike enjoyed fishing and watching sports with his family and friends, especially OU football. He was very good at playing horseshoes, billiards, and darts, and enjoyed competing with his friends and family. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Faye Moore; mother, Margaret Moore; father, Charles Moore; son, Jeremy Huppert, daughter, Jennifer Pinion; stepsister, Stephanie Pearson; nephew, Rocky Mannard, nieces, Allison Moore and Adalyn Moore; and granddaughter, Haley Hessenflow. Mike is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Randy Moore and wife Missy of Tahlequah, OK, Angie Christophersen and husband Noah of Wagoner, OK, Miranda Huppert-McIntyre of Russellville, AR, Morgan Hessenflow of Muskogee, OK, Jeff Hessenflow and wife Patricia of St Louis, MO, Jason Hessenflow and wife Crystal Estel of Muskogee, OK; siblings, Brenda Fleetwood and husband Jarrett of Okay, OK, Dennis Moore and wife Wynona of Muskogee, OK, Donald Moore and wife Ginger of Tahlequah, OK; grandchildren, Reagan Moore, Dylan Moore, KaQuhan Kirkland, Ryan Beavers, Grace McIntyre, Miklyn McIntyre, Isaac Christophersen, Ian Christophersen, Brice Pinion, Shyanne Pinion, Justin Hessenflow, Alley Hessenflow, and Stella Hessenflow; stepmother, Peggy Moore; step brother, Tony Fielder; step sister, Melanie Thayer, all of Muskogee, OK; mothers of his children, Judy Rhyne of Muskogee, OK and Pat Eddleman-Strahan of Russellville, AR; other family members and many friends. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral services honoring Mike’s life will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Salters officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with KaQuhan Kirkland, Daniel Moore, Ryan Beavers, Blake Moore, Justin Ford, and Noah Christophersen serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Lee, Isaac Christophersen, Ian Christophersen, Brice Pinion, and Justin Hessenflow.
