Robert Allen Estep

Robert Allen Estep passed away on October 29, 2021 in Orlando, FL. Robert was born on December 18, 1948 to John Cliffton Estep, Sr. and Edith (Clark) Estep in Moline, IL. He graduated from Oktaha High School and then joined the United States Army in 1969. Robert worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons most of his life where he retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Miami, FL in 1999. Robert married Jana (Howard) Estep on July 20, 2017 in Lake Tahoe, CA. They shared 4 years of life, marriage and wonderful memories. Robert loved the OU Sooners. He enjoyed bulldogging at rodeos, coaching his son in baseball, fishing and lobster diving, golfing and traveling in his motorhome. Robert was preceded in death by his father John Estep, Sr.; mother, Edith Starr; nephew, Ryan West and Christine Walsh Estep. He is survived by his wife Jana Howard Estep of Winter Haven, FL; son, Robert Allen Estep, II (Courtney) of Choctaw, OK; stepsons, Jerrad Dry (Jazmond) of Tulsa, OK, Dalton Yandell (Ashton) of Ft. Gibson, OK; brothers, John C. Estep, Jr of Muskogee, OK, Gary Estep (Carol) of Conyers, GA, Toby Starr (Gloria) of Coweta, OK; sisters, Jean Hammack ( Larry, Sr.) of Okay, OK, Betty Snyder (Tommy, Sr.) of Muskogee, OK, Teresa King (Mike) of Muskogee, OK; uncles, Blake Clark (Colleen) of Tahlequah, OK, Elmer (Hoppy) Estep (Judy) of Porter, OK; nephews, Larry Hammack, Jr., Tommy Snyder, II, Ronnie West, Joshua Estep, Cody Starr; nieces, Tracy Parson, Lori Greer, Kimberly James, Jillian Simmons and a host of great-nieces and nephews , relatives and friends. Family will greet friends 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M on November 5, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M., Monday, November 8, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Muskogee, Ok with Minister Dwayne Estep officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 P.M. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Hammack, Jr., Jason Noisey, Tommy Snyder, II, Richard Alsip, Joshua Estep and Charlie Blackwell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Backes, Richard Kerr, Bill Arnold, J.R. Jackson, Stevie Lyons, Jerry Lyons, John Stevenson, Mychal Alsip, Daren Staley, Alan Lyons, Kenny Cooper, Hite Baldwin and Steve Mertz.
