Roberta Reeder

Roberta Reeder, age 94, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, entered Heaven’s gates on Sunday morning, October 5, 2025. Born March 20, 1931, in Hinton, Oklahoma, Roberta was the cherished daughter of Goodlo and Rosie Bell (Laster) Boling. Roberta grew up in Oklahoma, graduating from public school and pursuing further education to earn her bachelor’s degree. On June 11, 1949, she married the love of her life, Cecil Reeder, in El Reno, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life filled with love, faith, and family. Throughout her remarkable life, Roberta dedicated herself to serving others. She held positions at Bressers Flower Shop and Frix Variety Store before she began her career as a special education teacher with Muskogee Public Schools. Roberta’s passion for teaching and her unwavering commitment to her students touched countless lives. She retired after many years of service, leaving a legacy of kindness, patience, and compassion. Roberta was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Goodlo and Rosie Bell Boling; her husband, Cecil Reeder; and her siblings. She is survived by her loving children: Connie Stephens of Muskogee, Carla Steeber and husband Don of Fort Gibson, Sheila Simpson and husband David of Tuttle, Velma Irvin of Muskogee, and Tresa Davis of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Her memory will be forever cherished by her grandchildren: Cheryl Tune, Brandon Irvin, Erica Leonard, David Bryant, Jeremy Beller, Ashley Steeber, Ryan Irvin, Greg Beller, Heather Phillips, Jamie Gragg, Colin Davis, and Stuart Simpson; and her great-grandchildren: Zack Irvin, Cameron Leonard, Bayleigh Reheard, Dale Hodge, Katie Irvin, Louis England, Jacob Bryant, Lakelynn Bryant, Nolan Beller, Finley Beller, Emma Beller, Allie Beller, Haylee Beller, Olivia Gillock, Owen Simpson, Anslee Covert, Abigail Leonard, Julia Berg, Colter Phillips, Easton Phillips, Makennley Phillips, Dominic Gragg, Isabella Gragg, Byron Tune, and Carson Tune; great-great-grandchildren, Saydie Reheard, Eleanor Irvin, Luke Leonard, and Lucas Irvin. Roberta’s life and love also touched many other family members and friends. Roberta’s gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her family and the many she inspired during her lifetime. Roberta’s life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at LifePoint Church, with Rev. Jerry Swepston officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 7600 Old Taft Rd Muskogee, Ok 74401. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Brandon Irvin, David Bryant, Jeremy Beller, Ryan Irvin, Greg Beller, Colin Davis, Stuart Simpson, and Zack Irvin.
