Sondra Kay White

Sondra Kay White, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Born December 7, 1946, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Sondra was the cherished daughter of Floyd Washington Warren and Wanda Juanita (Havens) Bentson. Sondra grew up in Muskogee, graduating from Muskogee Central High School, where she forged lifelong friendships and developed her creative spirit. She later attended Virgil’s Beauty College, beginning a career as a talented hair stylist. Her artistic flair extended far beyond the salon—Sondra was also a gifted artist, an inspired interior designer, and a passionate antique dealer. Her creativity touched every aspect of her life, enriching not just her home but the lives of all who knew her. On February 29, 1980, Sondra married the love of her life, Ronnie Ray White Sr., in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, adventure, and enduring love. Sondra Kay White will be remembered for her creativity, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her gentle spirit and artistic soul will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sondra was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Warren; her mother, Juanita Bentson; her brother, Ronald Warren; and her beloved son, Ronnie Ray White Jr. Though she faced loss, Sondra’s resilient spirit and deep love for her family never wavered. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronnie Ray White Sr.; her daughters, Lisa Thomas, Marti Calhoun and husband Rick, and Rhonda Coltharp and husband Darren; Sondra’s legacy continues through her grandchildren: Tyler Smith, Jeremy Smith, Hunter Thomas, Dillon Orsburn, Justin Orsburn, Cameron Trey White, Josie Coltharp, and Brandon Coltharp; as well as several great-grandchildren. She is also remembered with fondness by many other family members and dear friends. Sondra’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 18, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Floyd Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Tyler Smith, Jeremy Smith, Hunter Thomas, Cameron Trey White, Dillon Orsburn, and Justin Orsburn. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Eubanks, Greg Rainey, and Brandon Coltharp.
