Steven David Dillon

Steven David Dillon, age 44, of Seattle, Washington, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and dedication. Born December 12, 1980, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to William Ford Dillon Sr. and Janice LaDelle (Foreman) Dillon, Steven’s life was marked by achievement, service, and an abiding love for the arts. At the age of 5, Steven asked Jesus into his heart and was saved at a Captain Hook children’s ministry crusade. He graduated from Warner High School in the class of 1999. Known for his academic excellence, he was a proud honor roll student and served as the yearbook editor. His talents extended beyond the classroom, as he performed in “Grease” with the Muskogee Little Theatre, showcasing his passion for dance and performance. After high school, Steven attended Northeastern State University for two years, where he participated in River City Dance. He then graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in dance education and was a devoted member of the university’s dance company. He had the opportunity to perform at the Kennedy Center. Steven’s artistry and dedication led him to tour Europe with the acclaimed Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company out of Salt Lake City, Utah, inspiring audiences abroad with his talent. Steven spent over a decade as a regional trainer for MAC Cosmetics, where he was admired for his expertise, mentorship, and vibrant personality. His commitment to community was equally remarkable; he volunteered for several charitable organizations in Seattle and worked at DESC for 6 years as volunteer program assistant and workplace giving specialist, enriching lives with his generosity and kindness until the time of his passing. Steven will be remembered for his warmth, artistic spirit, and unwavering support for others. His life touched countless friends, colleagues, and family members, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him. One of Steven’s dear friends in Seattle described him as the true definition of a star. He shined his light so that others could shine their brightest. Steven was truly loved by so many and will always remain in our hearts. Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Eugene and Lillian “Bug” Foreman, William Floyd “Pat” and Marbie Ann Dillon; his father, William Ford Dillon Sr.; aunts, Lilly Smith (Luther), Loretta Benson (Jim), and Diana Dillon; uncles, Charlie Dillon, Dwain Dillon, and Stanley Medlin. He is survived by his loving mother, Janice LaDelle Dillon of Muskogee; his brother, William Ford Dillon Jr. and wife Ann of Hoschton, GA; his sister, Kristy Herriman and husband Bobby of Muskogee; nieces and nephews, Carlissa Mullins and husband Ryan, William Ford “Trey” Dillon III, Brooklyn Daily and husband Chisolm, Blaize Herriman; great-nieces, Paislynn Dillon, Audrey Mullins, and Emery Mullins; aunt, Natalie Medlin; cousins, Lacey Medlin and Cody Medlin; his special friend, Emilio Chavez; and his cherished fur baby, Tregor. A celebration of Steven’s life will be 2PM, Friday, October 24, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery with Blaize Herriman, Chisolm Daily, Ryan Mullins, Cody Medlin, Bobby Herriman and Ford Dillon III serving as pallbearers.
