Terry Jean Roach

Oh what a glorious celebration that took place in Heaven on Sunday, September 19, 2021 when Terry Roach met her Lord and Savior face to face. She was born March 26, 1951 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma to Raymond Lee and Gertrude (Keathley) Chapman. She passed away at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 24 days. Terry attended public schools and graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 1969. She was a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Jack Dwain Roach on December 20, 1968 at the Muskogee First Assembly of God Church. They shared more than 52 years of life, marriage, and memories together. Terry was a faithful and active member of New Hope Assembly of God Church for many years. She served in many areas of the church being the worship leader, youth leader, choir leader, and a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed participating on mission trips to Africa, Haiti and Arizona Indian reservations along with the Oklahoma District Assemblies of God prison ministries. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting, bowling, scrapbooking, shopping, and most importantly spending time with grandchildren. Terry will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, prayer warrior and minister of the Gospel who loved God with all her heart. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gertrude Chapman; brothers, Garry Chapman and Dwain Chapman. Terry is survived by her husband, Jack of the home; son, Shawn Roach and wife Imelda; daughter, Christina Evans and husband Mark of Bristow; son, Jeremy Roach of Oktaha; grandchildren, Levi Roach, Sarah Roach, Marco Roach, Camille Bohnert, Christian Evans, Emma Roach, Kevin Roach, Brooklyn Evans and Ella Roach; great-grandchildren, Eli Ruiz, Isaac Ruiz, Logan Roach and Lincoln Roach; along with other family members and many friends. Funeral services celebrating Terry’s life will be 10AM, Friday, September 24, 2021 at New Hope Assembly with Pastor Anthony Roe officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with Levi Roach, Marco Roach, Kevin Roach, Christian Evans, Terry Garoutte, and Lynn Scott serving as pallbearers.
