Thomas J Patterson

Thomas Junior Patterson, 58, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016. He was born June 27, 1958 to Oliver Thomas Patterson and Carol Sue (Claunts) Walker in Poteau, Oklahoma. Thomas was a baker for Wonder Bread until his retirement. He was an avid muscle car collector and loved driving them. He was also, a huge fan of John Wayne and loved to watch his movies. Thomas loved spending time with his family and loved to spoil his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was always early to family events as he never wanted to miss anything. Thomas’ family recalls he was always full of laughter and always willing to lend a hand as long as he was supervising. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Oliver Thomas Patterson; the man who raised Thomas, Andrew Jackson Walker; grandparents, Joe and Hazel Claunts; great nephew, Conner Wayne Lee Taylor. Thomas is survived by his son and grandsons, Jimmy Patterson, Carter and Andrew Patterson of Clearwater, FL; son, TJ Patterson of Clearwater, FL; mother, Carol Walker of Claremore, OK; siblings, Dennis Patterson of Muskogee, OK, Patricia Gambling engaged to Robert Norton of Claremore, OK, Joey Patterson and wife Tracy of Muskogee, OK, Bobby Walker and wife Tina of Inola, OK, and Peggy Harlow and husband Mason of Inola, OK; nieces and nephews, Rusty Patterson and Brandy Patterson both of Muskogee, OK, Bridget White of Poplar Bluff, MO, Jeremy Gambling of St. Louis, MO, Jessica Gambling of Poplar Bluff, MO, Destin Covey, Tye Covey, Trevor Patterson all of Muskogee, OK, Tori Walker of Locust Grove, OK, Andrea Walker, Brian Walker, Nathan Harlow, Ethan Harlow, and Zac Harlow all of Inola, OK; and many more great nieces and nephews, family members and friends. A celebration of Thomas’ life will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 25, 2016 At New Hope Assembly of God with pastor John Overton officiating. Pallbearers will be Ethan Harlow, Brian Walker, Chris Patterson, Nathan Harlow, Tye Covey, and Destin Covey. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Norton, Rick James, Jeremy Gambling, Bobby Walker, Dennis Patterson, Rusty Patterson, Zac Harlow, and Joey Patterson.
