Todd Rackley

James “Todd” Rackley, age 58, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. Born July 29, 1967, in Big Springs, Texas, Todd was the cherished son of James Hyram Rackley and Patricia Ann Parham. He attended public schools and graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 1985, later earning his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University. On October 1, 2005, Todd joyfully married the love of his life, Melissa Dawn Dawson, in Muskogee. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family and community. Todd was the proud owner of Chandler Road Donuts, where he earned the affectionate title of Todd “Donut King” Rackley. His warm smile, generous spirit, and commitment to excellence made Chandler Road Donuts a staple of the Muskogee community. Active in civic and fraternal organizations, Todd was a member of the Muskogee Shrine, the Royal Order of Jesters, Knights Templar, Camel Herder, Grand York Rite, and was a dedicated Free Mason. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Muskogee. Todd’s passion for life shone brightly in his love for hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his friends and family. His humor, kindness, and unwavering loyalty touched the lives of all who knew him. Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sonny and Eunice Parham; father, James Rackley; uncle and aunts, William and Mary Ann Parham, and Ellen Rackley; and brothers-in-law, Lee Stovall and Jim Adams. He is survived by his devoted wife, Melissa Rackley of the home; mother, Patricia Morgan; two daughters, Lacey Strebel and spouse Logan Marshall, Rebecca Whiteside and spouse Tim Whiteside; two sons, Logan Rhodes and Hunter Rackley and spouse Alexandria Story; grandchildren, Khya, Brantley, Lux, Savannah, Artemis, Xander, Shelby, Xavier, Nate, Heath, and Nick Jr.; sister, Kim Adams; mother-in-law, Linda Dawson; sister-in-law, Carla Stovall; brother-in-law, Shawn Dawson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus family members, and many friends. Todd Rackley’s legacy is one of service, family, friendship, and joy. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him, and his memory will forever be cherished. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Todd’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 3, 2025, at Muskogee First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Donnie Echols officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Logan Rhodes, Tim Whiteside, Hunter Rackley, Scott Godwin, Steve Mayes, and Charles Pearson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wendell Hope, Jim Bushnell, Mike Stewart, Jim Etchison, and Mark Gilliland.
