Troy E. Jones

Troy Edward Jones, 56, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 with his family at his side. He was born January 26, 1967 in Guymon, Oklahoma to Ross Edward Jones and Sandi Yvonne Squicquero. Troy attended public schools and graduated from Webbers Falls High School. He met and later married the love of his life, Lisa DeeAnne Hyslop on January 19, 1985 in Muskogee. They shared more than 38 years of life, marriage and memories together. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1986-1990; receiving an honorable discharge. Troy worked in the oilfield industry as the manager of tank services for Integrated Service Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. But most important was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved hosting the annual Redneck Fest Fish Fry and 4th of July celebrations for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Faye Jones; maternal grandfather, Robert Trujillo; maternal grandmother, Adele Behne; step maternal grandparents, Carl and Joan Butler; step paternal grandparents, Sam and Elsie Squicquero. Troy is survived by his loving wife, Lisa of the home; children, Zack (Mandi) Jones of Webbers Falls, Meghan (Justin) Hunnicutt; parents, Ross (Debra) Jones, all of Muskogee, Sandi (David) Squicquero of Windsor, CO; mother-in-law, Shirley Hyslop of Warner; siblings, Dax (Dena) Jones of Spring Creek, NV, Carla (Karsten) Meyer of Tulsa and Sam Jones of Muskogee; grandchildren, Braelyn, Waylon, Emma and Harper Jones all of Webbers Falls, Jocee, Joplin and Stevie Hunnicutt of Muskogee; along with other family members and friends. A celebration of Troy’s life will be 12:30PM, Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Warner First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Josh McElyea officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30PM at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with military honors being presented. Honorary pallbearers will be David Acuff, Kevin Thornbrugh, Dax Jones, Sam Jones, Keith Hyslop, and Row Hyslop.
