Brody McClanahan

Brody Paul McClanahan, 26, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born June 30, 1995 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was known as “Bub” or “Bro ChaCho” to his friends and family. Brody attended public schools and graduated from Springdale High School in 2013. He worked in the plumbing supply industry. He loved listening to music, watching movies, playing video games, and enjoying the outdoors. He also enjoyed trying new things, food, watching UFC fights, martial arts, the Raiders and using foul language. Brody will always be remembered for his kind, pure soul and having a heart of gold. He was funny, outgoing, compassionate, loved hard and was empathetic towards others. He was a shining light of love to all who knew him and was an amazing son and wonderful brother. He will be dearly missed. Brody was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Erbie and Martha Millet; and cousin, Amanda Deerinwater. He is survived by his mother, JoLynn Moses-Moreno and dad, Armando of Eufaula; father, Shawn McClanahan and partner, Amy of Springdale, AR; brothers, Bo McClanahan and partner Lauren Conger of Eufaula, Dominic Hernandez and partner Emily Futral of Eufaula; sisters, Shawna McClanahan Carlson and husband Jimmy and their six children of Tawanda, KS; Alexis Moreno and partner Kash Lane, Isabella Moreno, and Ava Moreno, all of Eufaula; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Ella McClanahan of Bella Vista, AR; nephew, Kai McClanahan; love of his life, Destiney Mills; uncles and aunts, Tim and Joyce McClanahan, Beckie and Johnnie Cooke; Rhonda Daniel and Kay Romero, Bonnie and Shane Cook, and Anna Craft; great uncles, Charles and Sharon Deerinwater, Louie Deerinwater, Ray and Renee Deerinwater; along with other family members and many friends. A celebration of Brody’s life will be 2PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Charles “Junior” Deerinwater officiating. Interment will follow at Phillips Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Bo McClanahan, Dominic Hernandez, Kash Lane, Victor Barrientos, Danny Barrientos and Alex Marin. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrea Daniel, Erin Daniel, Tori Deerinwater, Emily Morris, Clayton Cook, Louis Romero, Lily Romero, Jamie Cooke and Justin Cooke.
