Charlotte Louise Gregory

July 16, 1927 - December 12, 2021

Charlotte Louise Gregory was born July 16, 1927 to Philip Wells Gregory and Mary Theresa Lubbes and went to meet her Lord and Savior on December 12, 2021 at the age of 94. Charlotte was the 3rd of 5 children growing up during the Great Depression. She was a very bright child and graduated from Muskogee Central High School 2 years early. As soon as she graduated, she went to work for Griffin Foods retiring with 47 years of service. Charlotte was baptized at an early age and spent many happy and enjoyable years of her life teaching preschool children about Jesus at Boulevard Christian Church and later at York Street Christian Church. She loved those children and they loved her! She also enjoyed singing in the church choir. Although she had no children of her own, she instilled the love of Christ in many children including her 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She was like a mother to them and will always hold a very special place in their hearts. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law Phillip Owen Gregory and Kathleen; brother Leo Gregory, brother William H. Gregory and wife Marilyn; and sister Lela Gregory Foreman, and great nephew Andrew Foreman. Those left to mourn her loss are niece Theresa Kandt and husband Randy of Washington, Michigan, niece Patty Garner, Muskogee and nephew Mitchell Foreman and wife Lisa of Checotah, OK, 2 great nieces, 1 great nephew, 3 great-great nephews and 2 great-great nieces and 1 great-great-great nephew and 1 great-great-great niece as well as many cousins and friends. Services are scheduled for Friday December 17th at 2:00 pm at York Street Christian Church with Minister Gene Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee, OK. Pallbearers will be Wade Rousselot, Richard Kinnamon, Harvey Williams, Rodney Faith, Brian Garner and Mitchell Foreman.
