James ‘Jimmy’ Jay Dickman, 82, of Muskogee, OK passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was born of October 21, 1939 to Claude Dickman and Minnie Pauling in Detroit, MI. He worked as a belt press operator for Synagro until retiring in 2006. He married the love of his life, Nell Grace Bolieu on July 1, 1960 in San Antonio, TX. They shared many years of marriage and memories together until her passing. Jimmy was a faithful and active Christian who attended Christian Chapel of Muskogee. He knew the Lord very well, praising and worshipping him daily. He enjoyed going fishing, dancing, laughing and most of all making others laugh. Jimmy will be remembered for his outgoing personality and ability to always have a good time. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his wife, Nell Grace Dickman; mother, Minnie Pauling; father, Claude Dickman; daughter, Dawn Denise Shaw; sister, Patricia Forester; and brother, Gerald Dickman. He is survived by daughter, Stephanie Holdridge and husband Grant; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. A family conducted celebration of Jimmy’s life will be 10Am, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Christian Chapel in Muskogee, OK with Cecil Guthrie officiating.
