James "Jim" Ray Sheffield Wagner

April 10, 1976 - January 13, 2022

James ‘Jim’ Ray Sheffield Wagner, 45, of Muskogee, OK passed away on Thursday, January 13th, 2022. He was born on April 10th, 1976 to Donald L. Wagner and Ramona Moss Wagner in Pryor, OK. James attended Fort Gibson Schools until his last semester, transferring to Gore where he graduated. In addition, he attended Connors State College and Oklahoma State University. He went on to become a motorcycle mechanic who eventually owned and operated Independent Motorcycle Shop. There he would do custom paint jobs and mechanical work. James enjoyed going hunting, fishing, drawing, riding motorcycles and most of all spending time with his Ninnie and Papa before they passed away. He was preceded by his father, Don Wagner; uncle, James R. Wagner; maternal grandparents, Raymond Moss and wife Mary Lois; and paternal grandparents, John Wallace and wife Barbara. He is survived by his daughter, Chloe Wagner of Rogersville, MO; mother, Alice Ramona Sheffield of Ozark, MO; uncle, John Wallace and wife Malynda of Blanchard, OK; siblings, Dr. Rachael Herrington of Ozark, MO, Sara Forhetz and husband Ethan of Springfield, MO, Deana Around Him and husband John of Maryland, Rebecca McDonald and husband of Scottsbluff, NE, Rachelle Newcomb of Caney, KS, Jonathan Sheffield and wife Tanya of Gore, OK, Kim Decker and husband Steve of Springfield, MO, Whitney Gamble and husband Mike of Muskogee, OK, Diamond Cantrell and husband Josh of Muldrow, OK, Samantha McGee and husband Phillip of Gore, OK; and former step father, John Sheffield of Gore, OK; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A celebration of James’ life will be 2PM, Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donnie Echols officiating.
