Mary Elizabeth Lay

Mary Elizabeth Lay, 82, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. She was born on April 29, 1939 to Clyde Henry Love and Mary Emma (Graham) Love in Claremore, Oklahoma. Mary worked at Corning Glass Company as an assembly line worker until her retirement. She loved skating and was excellent at it, and she also enjoyed dancing. Mary taught her family one of her favorite things to do; how to shoot a bow and arrow. She loved her family very much and will always be remembered by everyone who knew and loved her. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mary Love; husband, Paul Hardman; and son, Bobby Lee Hardman. She is survived by her children, Linda Tillman of Peidmont, OK, Barbara Perez of Tahlequah, OK, and Paula Sigman and husband Charles of Jonesboro, AR; grandchildren, Galveston Suazo of Windermere, FL; Quentin Sigman of Tahlequah, OK, and Chloe Sigman of Tulsa, OK; Andrew Scroggins, Skylare Scroggins of Tahlequah, OK, Lucero Perez of Tahlequah, OK, and Selena Perez of Tahlequah, OK; siblings, Beatrice Rowland of Warner, OK, Barbara Crowder of Muskogee, OK, and Dewey Love and wife Mary of Little Rock, AR; and many other family members and friends. A celebration of Mary’s life will be 10AM, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Sigman officiating. Interment will follow at Warner Memorial Cemetery with Andrew Scroggins, Skylare Scroggins, Quentin Sigman, Austin Crowder, and Dakota Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Rowland, Calvin Crowder, Robert Pruett, Iner Lee Crowder, and Billy Clark.
