Nettie Kaad Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nettie Kaad, 95, of Muskogee, OK passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2022. She was born on May 25, 1926 to Harry and Ida Booth in Kingsville, TX. She grew up in Beeville, TX where she graduated from high school in 1944. Nettie married Bill Kaad in 1946. They spent 33 years in Muskogee where her husband was president of First National Bank. They moved to Pueblo, CO where they spent 12 years and then returned to Muskogee, OK. Nettie was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and was sorority president, outstanding girl of the year and sweetheart. She was also a member of the P.E.O. Chapter C G while in Pueblo. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. In her many years at Bethany, she worked in Christian education and with the Senior High Youth Group. She was preceded by her husband, William Kaad. She is survived by son, Michael Kaad and wife Kathy of Muskogee, OK; daughter, Jeanette Magni of Bixby, OK; grandchildren, Curtis Rampp, Alycia Highfill, Kelli High and husband Derek, Bryan Kaad and wife Erika; 2 great-grandchildren, Aysia Kaad and Kris Magni Kirby; great-great granddaughter, Destinii Magni Kirby; and dear friends, Michelle Kaad, Dean Cousparis, Sue Foster, and Michelle Foster. Family requests memorials be made to the Bedouin Shrine Temple Transportation Fund, 201 S. 6th St. Muskogee, OK 74401. A memorial service will be 2:30PM, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Cranton officiating.
