Orville Grant Griffith left for his heavenly adventure on January 15, 2022. He was born on August 12, 1956 to Orville and Grace Griffith in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He graduated in 1974 from Muskogee High School. After graduating, Orville served in the United States Navy. His family attended Westside Church of Christ. Orville began his career at City Chevrolet in the paint and body shop. He also worked at Brewster’s Body Shop and retired from Three Rivers Collision Center. Before his health declined, he enjoyed riding his Harley, bowling, playing golf with friends and Sooner football. He also loved spending any time he could with his only child, and most prized possession, Courtney. Orville was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved daughter; and sisters, Linda Merryfield and Doris Hartney. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Jones and Louise Sarty; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Orville’s life will be 10AM, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Kelly Payne officiating. The family would like to thank Orville’s great neighbors that took care of him, along with unforgettable friends he had for a lifetime. Special thanks to Randy Chapman who loved him unconditionally.
