Patricia Ellen Parker

Patricia Ellen Parker, 76, of Owasso, OK passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born on January 25, 1946 to Samuel and Juanita O’Kelley in Drumwright, OK. She graduated from Cushing High School where she participated in choir and glee club. A pioneer in her industry, she later went to work as a registered radiology technician, mentoring and leading the Muskogee Regional Medical Center Department for over 30 years until retiring in 2008. Patti married her best friend, James Charles Parker, on February 27, 1972 in Tulsa, OK. They shared 41 years of marriage, having two children (Holly and Jay T), several businesses, multiple four-legged family members and countless friends and family. Through the good times and bad, together they built a life full of love, laugher and memories, instilling the importance of family until Jim’s passing in 2013. Incredibly talented, Patti enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting, tending to her flowers and anything that sparkled. She loved singing karaoke with her family and going to town with her best girlfriends. Staying true to her love for art and all beautiful shiny things, she loved collecting “pretties”, including an impressive amount of vintage glass and fashion jewelry. One of Patti, biggest joys in life was spending time with and loving on her grandkids (Reagan, Parker J, Ruby). She was an exceptional wife, mother, sister, Granna and friend. Patti was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed; however we rest assured that she is now pain free and with her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Juanita O’Kelley; husband, Jim Parker; and son, Jay T Parker. She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Holly Hubbell and husband Kyle of Owasso, OK, along with granddaughter, Reagan Hubbell and grandson, Parker J Hubbell; granddaughter, Ruby Parker of Muskogee, OK; sisters, Joanne Melton of Greenville, TX, and Sammy Gourley of Stillwater, OK; and numerous other family members and friends. A celebration of Patti’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 7, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel, Muskogee, OK, officiated by Dr. KJ Little. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Hannon, Ron Hight, Glenn Thomas, Kyle Hubbell, Kelley Hitch, and Dave Eckerson. Parker J Hubbell, David and Robert Rowland, Chris White and Nick Carlton will serve as honorary pallbearers.
