Patsy "PJ" Flinn Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Patsy “PJ” Flinn, 76, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 with a smile on her face, knowing that she was to be reconnected with her beloved son, Rowdy Stewart after more than 30 years. She was born July 19, 1945 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Robert Cole Irwin Sr and Evelyn (Harris) Irwin. She loved anything Harley Davidson, Elvis Presley, watching NASCAR races, going on NASCAR cruises, and the color red. Patsy started her own business, “PJ’s” Liquor Store from 1986-2008 at which time she retired. Her business was very successful and everyone in the community came to know her and love her. She was always willing to help others, especially her children and grandchildren, whom she loved and cared for very much. Patsy was a fighter her whole adult life and took every situation head on. She was very strong-willed and strong-minded until the end. She was preceded in death by her son, Rowdy Stewart Jr.; parents, Robert and Evelyn Irwin Sr.; brothers, Robert Irwin Jr. and wife Judith, Warren “Buddy” Irwin; aunt and uncle, O. E. “Red and Lillie May “Babe” Hull. Patsy is survived by her daughters, Rebekah “Becky” Stewart and husband Bryan Sickler, Nichole “Nikki” Carlson and husband Matt, all of Muskogee; grandchildren, Trenton Quintana, Elijah Nichelson, Noah Nichelson, Abby Bennett and Sophia Carlson, all of Muskogee; sisters, Nancy Rayles and husband Danny of Muskogee, Judy Kay Rhodes of Columbus, OH; brother, James Irwin and wife Tara; her beloved pets, Sashi, Smokey, Rocky and Kitty Kat; along with other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. The family would like to express a very special “Thank you” to everyone that was there for her in her time of need. Funeral services celebrating Patsy’s life will be 10AM, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Danny Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Joe Thompson, Billy Beasley, Danny Felts, Johnny Rayles, Jim Stimmel Sr., and James Stimmel Jr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Martin, Mickey Liston, Joe Readdy, Trenton Quintana, Elijah Nichelson, Noah Nichelson and Booner McGrath.
