William Kenneth "Bill" Hensley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William Kenneth “Bill” Hensley, 76, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. He was born October 5, 1945 to Elves Odis Hensley and Nada Grace (Pippin) Hensley. Bill served in the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge. He married the love of his life, Barbara Elaine Rowe, on June 30, 1979 in Denver, Colorado. Bill worked as an insurance adjuster for many years until his retirement. One of his favorite things was making people laugh. His adventurous spirit led him to many hobbies including, traveling, painting, metal work, stained glass and woodwork. Bill was a one of a kind who could relate to anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elves and Nada Hensley; son-in-law, Jonathan Drake; brothers-in-law, Bernard, Bob, Chuck and Tom. Bill is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Barbara; daughters, Mandy Drake and her children of Broken Arrow, OK, Rebecca Grelle and husband Josh and their children of Yukon, OK, and Laura Hensley of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Alexandria and Sebastian Drake, Georgia, Grace, Gabrielle and William (namesake) Grelle; and many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial be made to the Muskogee Bedouin Shrine Temple Transportation Fund at: P.O. Box 1667 Muskogee, OK 74401 in memory of Bill Hensley. Bill’s family will greet friends 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel.
