Barbara Ann Davis

Barbara Ann Davis, 70, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 with her loving family at her side. She was born April 3, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ray and Bobbie Jean (Blay) Wallace. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Larry Gene Davis, on May 8, 1978 in Heavener, Oklahoma. They were blessed with more than 45 years of life, marriage, and making memories together. Larry and Barbara were the owners of Davis Excavating. She worked as the bookkeeper and “The Boss”. She enjoyed playing ball, fishing, gardening, and traveling. She loved shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Barbara’s passing will leave a void in the lives of all who had the privilege to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Bobbie Wallace; daughter, Wendy Dawn Davis; grandson, Colton Ray Davis; three brothers, Bill Wallace, Jim Wallace, and Floyd Wallace; mother and father-in-law, Dale “Grouch” and Elizabeth “Lizard” Goodier; three nephews, Brandon Murray, Phillip Wallace, and Jacob Freeman; brother-in-law, Clinton Huckaby; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Wallace and Tracey Freeman; two great nephews, Waylyn Verlis and Kendrick Floyd Huckaby. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Larry of the home; two daughters Crystal Davis and Tamera Davis both of Muskogee; brother, Glen Hardin; step-sister, Mary Gail Wallace, both of Tulsa; step-brother, Bobby Mahan of Wagoner; three grandchildren, Donald Davis, Brayden Davis, and Jesse Ryan, all of Muskogee; three sisters-in-law, Donna Huckaby of Heavener, Cheryl Wallace of Tulsa, and Grace Wallace; brother-in-law, Ray Freeman of Heavener; numerous nieces, nephews, which she loved very much; other family members and many friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM, Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be at 2PM, Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Hardin officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with Stephen Huckaby, Bobby Mahan, Brayden Davis, Kevin Fausett, Bryan Huckaby, and Kyler Terry serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Ryan, Chris Hackney, Garrett Huckaby, Buck Torix, Lincoln Anderson, Gary Davidson, George Richardson, and Johnny Cooper.
