Bobby Eugene Prichard

Bobby Eugene Prichard, 86, of Braggs, Oklahoma, was born on January 22, 1938, in Braggs, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026. he was a lifelong resident of the Braggs area and a proud graduate of Braggs Public School, Class of 1957. Bobby married the love of his life, Barbara Alice Dotson Prichard, on April 24, 1959 in Braggs, Oklahoma. They shared many years of life, marriage and family together. Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. He spent most of his working life in maintenance at Brockway Glass, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependability. He retired from Brockway Glass in 2000 after many years of dedicated service. Bobby was a faithful member of the Braggs Church of Christ, where he worshiped regularly and found great comfort in his faith. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and gardening—pastimes that reflected his love for the outdoors and working with his hands. Bobby will be remembered for his quiet strength, devotion to family, strong faith, and the example he set through a life of hard work and integrity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Prichard; his parents, Joseph and Effie Prichard; and his sister, Bertie Yocham. He is survived by his son, Kevin Prichard and wife Carneca of Braggs; his daughter, LaDonna Hartin and husband Andrew of Coweta; and his daughter, Paula Prichard of Braggs. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dalton Phillips and wife Mckay of Braggs; Asher Hartin of Coweta; Sierra Thompson and husband Jared of Tulsa; and Justin Thomas of Paris of Tennessee. His great-grandchildren include Wickham and Lincoln Phillips of Braggs; Blaire and Camden Thompson of Tulsa; and DJ Thomas of Georgia. He also leaves behind numerous cousins, extended family members, and many friends. Funeral services will be 10AM, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Braggs Church of Christ, with Leon Brashear and Curtis Brashear officiating. Burial will follow at South Bethel Cemetery with Kelly Gilliam, C.B. Abel, Jarrod Ward, Randy Jones, Dusty Harris, and Jerry Lynn Jaynes serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Ward, Hack Isbell, Billy Isbell, Danny Epperson, David Igert, and Mike Harris.
