Jeremy Lee Berry March 20, 1973 – Aug. 14, 2019 Surrounded by family and enormous love, Jeremy Lee Berry died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. Jeremy was born in Miami, OK on March 20, 1973 to Pam Martin and Mike Kordis. He created childhood memories living in Miami, Salt Lake City, and Tulsa before spending his teen years in Tahlequah, where he graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1991. He married Vida Nodine in 1991, and they had two daughters, Ashlee and Kristin, and also welcomed Robby to join the family as his son. In 2014, Jeremy married Lisa Wade and they moved to Fort Gibson. Jeremy had an enormous heart and prided himself on being able to find something good or beautiful in everyone. He served in the consumer financial services industry for nearly 30 years, the majority of his career at World Acceptance Corp., where his personable approach endeared him to customers and colleagues, alike. Jeremy loved people, dogs, OU football, Lake Tenkiller, trips to the beach, riding four-wheelers with his buddies, blazing fires, fast cars, loud guns, hunting, fishing, and being a bit of a jokester. But, his deepest affection was reserved for his family and closest friends. Happy memories and lasting love will live on through Jeremy’s survivors, including his wife, Lisa Wade Berry; daughters, Ashlee and Kristin Berry; son, Robby Crawford; stepdaughter, Riley Raasch; mother, Pam Parks and stepfather Lawrence Parks; brother, Ben Berry; granddaughters, Braelynn and Bayleigh; grandfather, Gene Martin; grandmother, Bette Hill; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, and former colleagues. Jeremy was preceded in death by his dad, Jim Berry; his biological father, Mike Kordis; grandparents, Benjamin and Idella Berry; and paternal biological grandparents, Leland and Alice Kordis. A family conducted memorial celebration of Jeremy’s life will take place on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. at Cherokee Landing State Park, 28610 Park 20, Park Hill, OK.
